Garden Art Museum to host children’s festival

TEHRAN – The Children, Friendship and Art Festival will be held at Tehran’s Garden Art Museum.
The two-day festival is on the occasion of World Children’s Day that is celebrated annually in Iran on October 8.
The museum is located at No.10, Prof. Hesabi St, off Darbandi Ave, in the Tajrish District.
Bismillah exhibit to reopen Barg Gallery
TEHRAN -- After an absence of four years, Barg Gallery will reopen with an exhibition of Bismillah calligraphy paintings on October 9.
Artwork created by veteran artists Mohammad Ehsaii, Amir Mohammad Falsafi, Sedaqat Jabbari, Nassrollah Afejeii and Hamid Ajami will be on display during the showcase.
The exhibit will run until October 21 at the venue located on No.13, Jamali St, off Vafamanesh Ave, in Heravi Sq.
National Music Orchestra to commemorate House of Music establishment
TEHRAN -- Iran National Music Orchestra will perform concerts on October 16 and 17 at the National Grand Hall.
They will perform famous pieces on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of Iran’s House of Music. Conducted by Farad Fakhreddini, Salar Aghili will accompany the orchestra as the vocalist.
Niavaran to host Pari Zanganeh recitals
TEHRAN -- Prominent Iranian female vocalist Pari Zanganeh will perform recitals exclusively for women at the Niavaran Cultural Center on October 9 and 10.
She will perform excerpts from an opera and some pieces composed by renowned Iranian musicians with poetry from Forugh Farrokhzad, Sohrab Sepehri, Ahmad Shamlu and Samin Baqcheban..
